Solve et coagula

Welcome to my thoughts, my story, my experiences, my truths - from 3+ decades, 2 professional careers, 1 professional sport and seemingly countless hours pursuing, examining and questioning.

The alchemist phrase “solve et coagula” is latin for: dissolve and coagulate.

In life as in chemistry, to transform and make new matter, the starting substance(s) must be altered from its original state in order to transmute. Writing these words is my earnest attempt to undergo my own dissolution and coagulation. There is no guarantee as to what the resulting product will be, much less whether it will please myself or anyone else. Nevertheless, I look forward to the experiment and trust in the potential of my raw materials.
